Hey there.
Anyone hear what won the Grand Jury prize at Sundance this year?
A movie shot for $7000 on super 16. Just 77 minutes long and by a first time director with a tiny crew...
It's a science Fiction movies called Primer.
Here is the trailer. http://www.primermovie.com/trailers/...tial_Large.mov
I don't think much of the trailer. It looks nice but didn't exactly grip me. But from what Ive read about the plot it sounds very interesting.
Good on him.
Despin out.

Only watched the first half - it looks interesting.
I like what I saw of the trailer - well, any trailer that doesn't have that ridiculous 'One man.../In a land...' clich? bloke is a step in the right direction for me.
Good luck to him (not clich? trailer bloke but the maker of the film).

Looks good. The story seems kinda similar to Pi but that's in no way a bad thing. It must be pretty good to get the Grand Jury prize. I'd be interested to know how much it sold for, if it has yet.
I agree the trailer was a bit repetitive and didn't really show any story. But it left me definately anting to see the film.

'Mortis Illumina' looks way better.

If it were a Hollywood trailer, that would have cost $7000 in digial titling effects alone!
Good going though... hope it does well!
